NEW COVID STUDIO POLICIES

1.  ADMITTANCE: No child may attend class or camp and no adult should enter the building who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, has exhibited symptoms of COVID-19, or had contact with a person who has or is suspected to have COVID-19 within the past five (5) days leading up to the day of class or camp.

2.  SYMPTOMS POLICY: Any dancer who exhibits the following symptoms during the class or camp will be separated from the group immediately: temperature greater than 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit; cough; shortness of breath; difficulty breathing; any other respiratory symptoms; any of the following symptoms: chills, shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell. Parents will be notified to remove their dancer immediately and she will not be allowed back to class again until she has either had a negative COVID-19 test, or has been fever- and fever medication-free for seventy-two (72) hours, other symptoms have improved, and at least five (5) days have passed since symptoms first appeared.

3. POTTY TRAINING: All dancers not wearing diapers or pull-ups must be potty trained. Potty trained = able to notify teacher that she needs to use the restroom, is able to wait in line for her turn if necessary and can use the toilet with or without assistance with getting on or off the toilet, clothing removal, wiping, and cleaning hands afterward. If your child cannot do all these things, then she is not potty trained and is not allowed to wear regular underwear to summer camp. Teachers do not assist in any potty training practice that you may be going through at home, so please consider this before committing your child to camp.

4. SICK POLICY: If your dancer isn’t feeling well or has any communicable symptoms, such as a) persistent coughing or runny nose; b) fever, vomiting or diarrhea within the past 24 hours; c) skin rash; d) eye discharge; or e) head lice, please keep your dancer out of class or camp.
